Wife of eliminated ISIS terrorist-in-chief Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi captured in Syria
Turkey has captured the wife of eliminated ISIS terrorist leader bu Bakr al-Baghdadi in Syria, Erdoğan announced Wednesday.
“We captured Baghdadi’s wife, but we did not make a fuss. Similarly, we caught his sister and brother-in-law in Syria. We will continue our work in this regard,” Erdoğan said.
Earlier this week, Turkey captured the sister of al-Baghdadi, 65-year-old female Muslim terrorist Rasmiya Awad. She was captured in a raid on a trailer container she was living in with her family near the town of Azaz in Aleppo province.
The sister-terrorist was with her husband, daughter-in-law, and five children. The adult terrorists are being interrogated, a Turkish official said.
U.S. special operations forces conducted a raid on al-Baghdadi’s compound in Syria’s northwestern Idlib province, where the terrorist leader blew himself up with a suicide vest following a “brief firefight.”
