Duvdevan Special Forces arrest Muslim terrorists who injured soldier in rock-throwing attack

The IDF, Shin Bet and Duvdevan Special forces arrested the terror cell that threw rocks near Kfar Azzon in Samaria and wounded an off duty IDF officer about a month ago.

“In a joint IDF and Shin Bet intelligence effort, we arrested the suspects for throwing the stones. Duvdevan unit soldiers work around the clock to stop and thwart any terrorist activity in Judea and Samaria,” Duvdevan Deputy Commander Lieutenant M. said.

In September, Muslim terrorists attempted to murder a 23-year-old off duty officer by throwing rocks at his car when he was traveling on Route 55 in Samaria. He was treated by first responders at the scene and evacuated to Belinson Hospital in Petah Tikvah.

In addition, IDF troops, Border Police forces, and the Israeli Police carried out a major overnight counter-terrorism operation in the Arab village of al-Arroub, in the Hevron area, after Muslim terrorists attempted to murder Jews traveling on Route 60 near the village in several rock-throwing and firebomb attacks.

During the counter-terrorism operation, 13 Muslim terrorists were arrested. An M-16 weapon, a stolen car and terror funds were found and seized.
