Cleared for Publication: The Israel Police in a joint operation with the Shin Bet, arrested last month a 20-year-old Bedouin Muslim terrorist from the Arab city of Tel Sheva in southern Israel, for supporting ISIS and seeking to join the terror group in Syria.
The Bedouin terrorist was arrested on September 9. Military gear, binoculars, BB guns, kneepads and drones used for training in dropping bombs on dummy targets were found during a raid of the Tel Sheva terrorist’s home.
In addition, the Police said they found a large number of camo uniforms associated with ISIS.
The terrorist’s remand has been extended repeatedly and prosecutors from the Southern District are expected to file an indictment against him today.
“The Israeli police will continue to assist in exposing suspects operating for the Islamic State terrorist organization, and together with the competent authorities, will take the necessary enforcement measures to prevent any activity that adversely affects state security, including the dissemination of the Islamic State terrorist organization in Israel,” Police said in a statement.
