Italy: Muslim terrorist stabs soldier in the throat while shouting ‘allahu akbar’

A 34-year-old soldier was stabbed in the throat by a Muslim terrorist who reportedly shouted “allahu akbar” outside the Central Station in Milan.
The Italian soldier, who was on duty as part of a “Safe streets operation”, was stabbed in the neck and shoulder with a pair of scissors.
The terrorist fled the scene but was quickly arrested by police, at which point he shouted ‘allahu akbar’ again.
The soldier was taken to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment where his condition was deemed non-life-threatening despite the deep wound to his neck.
The Muslim terrorist has been identified as a 23-year-old from Yemen. He was armed with a pair of scissors and was apparently a regular visitor to the station.
Police said investigations are underway to determine if the terror attack was terrorism-related.
