Alleged Israeli strikes on Iranian weapon depots near Iraq-Syria border
BREAKING: Israeli fighter jets allegedly targeted multiple Iranian-backed Shiite positions near the border between Iraq and Syria.
The strike came a week after 21 Iranian-backed terrorists were reportedly eliminated in an explosion at a weapons warehouse used by Iranian-affiliated terror groups in Iraq‘s Anbar province, which was linked to recent strikes, some attributed to Israel.
A Syrian security official said that Israeli jets targeted Iran-backed terrorists yesterday in eastern Syria. The official denied reports of at least 18 Muslim terrorists eliminated in the strikes.
In the past, Israel has warned that it can reach Iraq to prevent Iran from stockpiling ballistic missiles in the country.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said last month that Iran has no immunity anywhere and that the IDF “will act — and currently are acting — against them.”
