Israel imposes general closure on Judea-Samaria and Gaza ahead of Election Day
The State of Israel’s citizens will go to the polls tomorrow to cast their vote in the 22nd Knesset elections.
The Defense Ministry has announced the closure of Judea-Samaria and the crossings to Gaza during the day of the elections, starting at midnight tonight.
Palestinian Authority workers will not be allowed into Israel during the counter-terrorism procedure.
The passage from Judea and Samaria to other parts of Israel will only be permitted for humanitarian, medical and exceptional cases, subject to the approval of the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories.
The opening of the crossings will take place on Wednesday at midnight, subject to assessments of the situation and following routine opening hours.
