Israeli fighter jets bomb Hamas terror targets in response to rocket attack from Gaza
Israeli fighter jets are carried out retaliatory strikes targeting Hamas terror infrastructure in northern Gaza after a rocket launched by Muslim terrorists towards hit southern Israel.
“An IDF aircraft attacked a Hamas terrorist outpost in northern Gaza in response to rockets launched into Israeli territory”, the IDF said in a statement.
Code Red rocket sirens sounded in Netiv Haasara. According to initial reports, two rockets were fired from Beit Lahiya towards Israeli towns. One of the rockets exploded in the sea and the other exploded mid-air over Gaza.
Yesterday, five rockets were launched towards IDF forces near the security border fence. Four of the rockets exploded near the fence, one in an open area.
In response, IDF tanks targeted Hamas terror infrastructures in central Gaza and an aircraft bombed a Hamas position in northern Gaza.
On Sunday, at least three rockets were fired by Muslim terrorists from Gaza into southern Israel during a music festival in Sderot. The Iron Dome defense system intercepted two of the rockets, while another rocket hit an open area causing a fire.
