Israeli fighter jets bomb Hamas targets in response to rocket attack at festival in southern Israel
Israeli fighter jets carried out retaliatory strikes targeting Hamas terror infrastructure in Gaza after at least three rockets launched by Muslim terrorists towards southern Israel targeted a music festival in Sderot.
The IDF said it had hit targets on a military base belonging to Hamas terror group in northern Gaza, including the office of a Hamas battalion commander.
No injuries reported as Hamas evacuated its terror positions throughout Gaza ahead of expected Israeli retaliation for this evening’s rocket attack at southern Israel.
A huge explosion was reported near Umm Al-Nasr in Beit Hanoun.
According to Arab reports, a Hamas terror target in Beit Lahiya was struck after roof knocking.
At least three rockets were fired by Muslim terrorists from Gaza into southern Israel during a music festival in Sderot Sunday night.
The Iron Dome defense system intercepted two of the rockets, while another rocket hit an open area causing a fire.
MDA teams treated a number of people suffering from anxiety and helped festivalgoers to disperse safely.
A 30-year-old woman was lightly injured while running for shelter in Sderot. MDA teams provided her with medical treatment and she was evacuated to the hospital.
