Heartbreaking: Rina Shnerb (17) named as Israeli girl murdered by Muslim terrorists near Dolev
The Israeli girl who was murdered when Muslim terrorists threw an explosive device while she was hiking with her family near Dolev, has been identified as 17-year-old Rina Shnerb HY’D.
The funeral for Rina will take place at 3.30 pm in the new Lod cemetery.
Her father Rabbi Eitan (45) and brother Dvir (19) were seriously injured and were taken by helicopter to a Jerusalem hospital.
Right now Muslim terror fans in Gaza are distributing sweets to celebrate the terror attack.
The IDF said an explosive device was used in the terror attack, but it was not immediately clear if the bomb was thrown at the family or if it had been planted earlier and detonated when the family approached it.
A massive manhunt for the Muslim terrorists is underway, with IDF forces reportedly tracking a suspicious vehicle that fled the scene shortly after the explosion.
“An Israeli father and his 2 children were seriously injured when a bomb was detonated while they were at a natural spring together near the community of Dolev this morning. We are searching for the terrorist responsible for this heinous terror attack”, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit tweeted.
PM Netanyahu said he was receiving updates on the manhunt for the terrorists and entered security consultations with the defense establishment.
“On behalf of myself and the citizens of Israel, I send deep condolences to the family of young Rina Shnerb who was murdered in a harsh terrorist attack this morning, and wishes for a quick recovery to her father, Rabbi Eitan, and her brother Dvir. We will continue to strengthen settlement. We will deepen our roots and strike at our enemies. The security arms are in pursuit after the abhorrent terrorists. We will apprehend them. The long arm of Israel reaches all those who seek our lives and will settle accounts with them,” PM Netanyahu said in a statement.
