Terror attack in Binyamin: 17-year-old girl murdered, Israeli family seriously injured in blast
BREAKING: A 17-year-old Israeli girl was murdered, her father (45) and her brother (20) were seriously injured from an explosive device thrown by Muslim terrorists at the family, who were hiking near the spring of Ein Bubin, near the Jewish community of Dolev in Binyamin.
According to initial reports, the explosive device was thrown by Muslim terrorists at a group of Israelis who were at the area.
The victims have been evacuated to hospitals via helicopter.
A massive manhunt for the Muslim terrorists is underway, with IDF forces reportedly tracking a suspicious vehicle that fled the scene shortly after the explosion.
Arabs report that the IDF is setting up roadblocks and searching in the western Ramallah area, southeast of Dolev.
Her father Rabbi Eitan (45) and brother Dvir (19) were seriously injured and were taken by helicopter to a Jerusalem hospital.
The IDF said an explosive device was used in the terror attack, but it was not immediately clear if the bomb was thrown at the family or if it had been planted earlier and detonated when the family approached it.
“An Israeli father and his 2 children were seriously injured when a bomb was detonated while they were at a natural spring together near the community of Dolev this morning. We are searching for the terrorist responsible for this heinous terror attack”, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit tweeted.
PM Netanyahu said he was receiving updates on the manhunt for the terrorists and entered security consultations with the defense establishment.
Ein Bubin is also called “Danny’s Spring,” after Danny Gonen (25), who was murdered by Muslim terrorists in 2015 after he and his friend returned from a visit to the Ein Bubin spring.
