Iron Dome batteries deployed in central, southern Israel – IDF gears up for ‘Day of Rage’
BREAKING: The IDF deployed additional Iron Dome missile defense batteries in the Gush Dan area of central Israel and in southern Israel as preparation for a possible escalation and rocket attacks from Gaza.
Hamas, Fatah, Islamic Jihad, other terror groups and Arab factions declared a ‘day of rage’ for tomorrow Friday and called for violent riots throughout Judea, Samaria and Gaza to mark 50 years of the al-Aqsa mosque arson by a Christian-Australian citizen.
IDF troops opened fire Thursday afternoon on a group of Muslim terrorists who were approaching the security border fence with central Gaza in order to infiltrate into Israeli territory and murder Jews. According to Arab reports, IDF soldiers fired towards five terrorists, who fled back into Gaza.
Israeli fighter jets carried out retaliatory strikes targeting Hamas terror infrastructure in northern Gaza overnight after a rocket launched by Muslim terrorists towards southern exploded in an open area in the Sha’ar HaNegev Regional Council.
At 1 am, shortly after the retaliatory strikes, another rocket launched from Gaza exploded in an open area near Nacha Oz. The IDF bombed a Hamas naval facility near Gaza city for the second time following the rocket attack.
