Hamas gives Israel ultimatum, threatens to slaughter Jews if Qatari money is delayed
Hamas has threatened to escalate terror attacks along the Gaza border if Israel delays the Qatari money expected to arrive by the end of this week, a member of the terror group told Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar.
According to the terrorist, Hamas has renewed its call for mediators to exert pressure on Israel to implement the understandings soon.
“A boiling volcano will erupt in front of the enemy and its soldiers, and escalation is something Netanyahu does not want before the elections,” he said.
Qatari envoy Mohammed al-Emadi is expected to arrive in the next few days to oversee the disbursement of another $25 million in $100 bills and to discuss infrastructure projects included in the truce agreement between Hamas and Israel.
Hamas’s threat comes after a weekend of escalated tensions. Five Muslim terrorists armed with rifles were eliminated after attempting to invade Israel Saturday night.
Rockets were fired during the weekend by Muslim terrorists from Gaza. At least three rockets were fired Saturday night towards southern Israel. On Friday night, a rocket launched by Muslim terrorists was intercepted by the Iron Dome missile defense system.
