6 wanted terrorists arrested in Judea-Samaria -Weapons seized -Riots in Shechem
The IDF arrested 6 Muslim terrorists overnight in Judea and Samaria, who were wanted for involvement in terrorism and violent disorders directed against civilians and security personnel.
The terrorists were turned over to security agencies for further investigation.
As part of an ongoing campaign against illegal weapons, Border Police and IDF forces from the Etzion Regional Brigades seized a handgun and ammunition.
The IDF, Border Police and the Civil Administration for Judea and Samaria secured the prayers and entry of some 700 Jewish worshipers to biblical Joseph’s Tomb in Shechem.
During the forces’ entry into Shechem, Muslim terrorists threw rocks, firebombs and fireworks at the troops. There were no casualties and no damage reported among the security forces.
The IDF responded with crowd dispersal measures, including rubber bullets. According to Arab reports, three Muslim terrorists were wounded by rubber bullets.
