Jerusalem: 2 policemen injured during a counter-terrorism operation in Issawiya
Two policemen were injured during a counter-terrorism operation to capture rock-throwing terrorists in the Issawiya neighborhood of Jerusalem.
In the course of the operation, a Muslim terrorist attacked the forces and was arrested. During his transfer to the patrol car, violent Muslim terrorists gathered and attacked the policemen.
Two officers were wounded from a stun grenade used to quell the riots.
In addition, Muslim terrorists attempted to murder Jews by throwing rocks at passing vehicles on Route 437 near the Anatot base in Jerusalem. An Israeli man was lightly wounded from glass shrapnel when the bus he was traveling in was attacked by the terrorists.
Police sappers are currently operating to neutralize two parcels with Swastikas, “Islamic Jihad” and wires sticking out, which were thrown from a vehicle on the Trans-Judea Highway.
