Two more F-35 stealth fighter jets join Israel’s growing fleet
Two more F-35 stealth fighter jets joined today the existing IAF fleet, bolstering Israel’s aerial superiority and operational capabilities, the IDF said in a statement.
“These new additions are a further expression of the ever-strong military partnership between Israel and the US”, the IDF added.
During a meeting with F-35 pilots, PM Netanyahu said last week that Israel’s F-35 fighter jets “can reach anywhere in the Middle East,” in response to threats by Iranian officials in recent days.
“Iran has recently been threatening Israel’s destruction. They should remember that these planes can reach anywhere in the Middle East, including Iran and definitely Syria,” Netanyahu said during a visit at the Nevatim airbase.
