Stabbing attack thwarted in Jerusalem: Muslim terrorist caught with knife
BREAKING: A Muslim terrorist was caught with a knife and arrested by security forces at the Rachel checkpoint, between Bethlehem and Jerusalem.
The terrorist, a resident of the Palestinian Authority, was stopped by alert guards as he tried to enter Jerusalem.
Upon searching him a knife he planned to use in a terror attack was found hidden in his clothes.
No one was hurt. The terrorist was arrested and turned over to security agencies for further investigation.
The IDF and the Shin Bet arrested Sunday morning a Muslim terrorist who rammed his car into soldiers on Saturday night near the Hizma checkpoint, north of Jerusalem.
According to a preliminary investigation, the terrorist identified IDF forces who were operating on the side of the road and rammed his car into them.
Five soldiers were wounded in the terror attack. Three soldiers were hospitalized in moderate condition and a fourth in light condition; the fifth soldier was released overnight.
