Residents complain of hazardous smells, irritation – More than 30 fires broke out in Israel
More than 30 fires broke out today in southern Israel due to firebombs and explosive devices attached to balloons and drones, launched by Muslim terrorists from Gaza into Israel.
Residents of Israeli towns near the Gaza border reported strong odors, irritation, sore eyes and burning sensations, likely from hazardous chemicals used by terrorists in the incendiary balloons.
Multiple fire department units dealt with fires in the Eshkol and Sha’ar HaNegev regional councils, Netivot, Beeri, Nachal Oz, Kissufim, Shuva.
In addition, an explosive device attached to balloons landed in the yard of a home in the Eshkol Regional Council.
There have been more than 100 fires from incendiary devices reported in southern Israel since the beginning of the week, including 19 fires reported yesterday.
⚠️ Police warn Israelis not to touch burning kites, tires or incendiary balloons and immediately report them to the police emergency line.
Sons of Zawari, Wad al-Tharir, Grandsons of Nasser and Barq Unit, all cells of Muslim terrorists who have launched thousands of incendiary and explosive devices into Israel posted on social media the launch of large batches of explosives attached to balloons and drones.
A map with the fires caused by Muslim terrorists over the last year was made and updated daily by residents of the Western Negev in southern Israel.
On Tuesday, Israel indefinitely stopped the transfer of fuel to the power plant in Gaza through the Kerem Shalom crossing in response to the increased number of arson attacks over the last days.
“The situation is unbearable, there is a daily war going on and the State of Israel is silent,” said Itai Pachter of Kibbutz Kfar Aza. “The residents of the Gaza border area are prisoners in a security situation from which there is no escape.”
Pachter added: “For more than a year we have been living with the terrorism of the fires and the situation is very frustrating. People are already indifferent to the situation. It will not end well.”
