Israel stops fuel transfer to Gaza due to incendiary devices launched by Muslim terrorists
Israel will indefinitely stop the transfer of fuel to the power plant in Gaza through the Kerem Shalom crossing, the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) said in a statement.
COGAT said the reason was the launching of firebombs and explosive devices attached to balloons from Gaza into Israel, which sparked several fires in neighboring Israeli communities.
At least 15 fires broke out yesterday in southern Israel due to firebombs attached to balloons, launched by Muslim terrorists from Gaza into Israel.
Two explosive devices exploded overnight over Israeli towns in the Eshkol Regional Council.
In addition, a firebomb attached to balloons landed Monday afternoon near a kindergarten in Sdot Negev.
Two weeks ago, Israel imposed a full naval blockade on Gaza which lasted one week, in response to hundreds of firebombs and explosive devices launched by Muslim terrorists into Israeli territory.
Sons of Zawari, a cell of Muslim terrorists who have launched thousands of incendiary devices into Israel posted on social media the launch of large batches of explosives attached to balloons and claimed responsibility for the fires.
