7 wanted terrorists arrested overnight – Muslims riot during counter-terrorism operation in Jerusalem

BREAKING: The IDF arrested seven Muslim terrorists overnight in Judea and Samaria, who were wanted for involvement in terrorism and violent disorders directed against civilians and security personnel.

The terrorists were turned over to security agencies for further investigation.

As part of an ongoing campaign against illegal weapons, IDF and Border Police forces seized a weapon in the Arab village of al-Yamun, west of Jenin.

Violent riots broke out during a counter-terrorism operation in the Issawyia neighborhood of Jerusalem, with Muslim terrorists throwing fireworks and explosive devices at troops operating in the area.

Security forces responded with crowd dispersal measures to distance the terrorists.

Acting on a piece of timely intel, Saturday night security forces caught a 39-year-old Muslim terrorist from Shechem, who was on his way to perpetrate a terror attack. Following a large-scale manhunt, the terrorist was arrested in the central Israeli city of Lod.
