18 wanted terrorists arrested overnight – IDF exchange fire with PA forces in Shechem
BREAKING: The IDF arrested 18 Muslim terrorists overnight in Judea and Samaria, who were wanted for involvement in terrorism and violent disorders directed against civilians and security personnel.
The terrorists were turned over to security agencies for further investigation.
Overnight, during a counter-terrorism operation to apprehend wanted terrorists in the Arab city of Shechem, fire was exchanged between IDF troops and a group of armed men who were identified by the troops as suspects.
In retrospect, the men were Palestinian Authority security forces and the incident was described as a case of mistaken identity.
At least one member of the PA forces was reported to have suffered slight injuries. The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit announced there were no injuries to its forces.
