Stabbing attack in central Israel – Manhunt underway for Muslim terrorist
A 46-year-old Israeli man was moderately wounded Wednesday morning by a Muslim terrorist in a stabbing attack in the central Israeli city of Ramat Hasharon.
According to initial reports, the victim was walking in the street when he was attacked by the Muslim terrorist. He sustained wounds to his upper body and was taken to Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva.
People in the vicinity said that the terrorist came out of a nearby building site and shouted ‘allahu akbar’ while stabbing the victim several times in the back and pelvis.
The police launched a massive manhunt for the terrorist in Ramat Hasharon and surrounding areas. A police helicopter was also deployed to help with the search and the southbound lanes of Route 4 were also closed in the area of the Mesubim interchange.
In addition, a picture of the Muslim terrorist was released. “Anyone who can help identify him is requested to call the police station 100 immediately,” the Police said in a statement.
