Reward to terrorism: Israel expands Gaza fishing zone – Fires broke out due to incendiary devices
Israel said Tuesday it has expanded the fishing zone off the Gaza coast from 10 nautical miles to 28km (15 nautical miles).
Last Wednesday, Israel cut the limit to 10 nautical miles after explosive devices and firebombs attached to balloons were launched by Muslim terrorists from Gaza into Israeli territory.
“The Israeli government’s powerful response to the incendiary balloons in the Gaza border – increasing the fishing area to 15 miles,” Israel Beytenu leader Avigdor Liberman criticized the decision on Facebook.
At least three fires broke out the today in Israeli towns near the Gaza border due to incendiary balloons.
Multiple fire department units dealt with two large blazes near Be’eri.
⚠ Police warn Israelis not to touch burning kites, tires or incendiary balloons and immediately report them to the police emergency line.
