IDF officer, female soldier wounded by sniper fire from Gaza – 4 Muslim terrorists eliminated
BREAKING: An IDF officer and a female soldier were moderately wounded when Muslim terrorists opened fire from southern Gaza on Friday afternoon, leading to a retaliatory strike by the IDF.
According to the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit, the officer is listed in moderate condition. The female soldier suffered very light injuries. Both were evacuated to hospital for treatment.
According to Arab reports, three shells were fired at a Hamas observation post in al-Bureji.
Four Muslim terrorists were eliminated in the strikes, the Hamas-ruled Health Ministry in Gaza said.
Two of the eliminated terrorists have been identified as Abdullah Abu Malouh, 33, from Nuseirat and Ala’a Albabeli, 29, from al-Maghazi.
Several terror groups have published statements threatening response to the elimination of Muslim terrorists by the IDF.
According to reports, Egypt has contacted both Israel and Hamas asking not to escalate the situation.
As every Friday after mosque, some 4,000 Hamas-sponsored terrorists were rioting, burning tires, throwing rocks, launching firebombs, grenades and attempting to sabotage the security fence along the Gaza border in order to infiltrate into Israel and murder Jews.
Muslim terrorists are currently rapidly evacuating the border amid reports of ongoing gunfire.
Friday morning, three fires were extinguished in Israeli communities near the Gaza border as a result of incendiary balloons flown into Israeli territory by Muslim terrorists from Gaza.
Yesterday, the Islamic Jihad terror group threatened that if Israel harms or eliminates its Muslim terrorists, the terror group will launch rocket attacks targeting civilians on all Israel’s largest cities.
Senior Muslim terrorist Ziad al-Nakhaleh, who was named the new Islamic Jihad chief in September 2018, made the comments after the IDF accused its terror group of firing the rocket that landed off the Israeli coast Monday evening.
Two rockets were fired at southern Israel early Thursday, about two hours after Israeli fighter jets conducted airstrikes against targets belonging to Hamas terror group in Gaza, following the launch of explosive devices attached to balloons from Gaza into Israel earlier in the day.
Last week, the IDF deployed additional Iron Dome missile defense batteries throughout the country as preparation for a possible escalation and rocket attacks from Gaza ahead of Independence day, Eurovision, and the start of the jihad month of Ramadan.
