Muslim terrorists riot after mosque along the Gaza border and Samaria
As every Friday after mosque, some 6,000 Hamas-sponsored terrorists were rioting, burning tires, throwing rocks, launching firebombs, grenades and attempting to sabotage the security fence along the Gaza border in order to infiltrate into Israel and murder Jews during Passover.
IDF troops responded with riot dispersal means including live fire at main terrorists, in accordance with the rules of engagement.
The Hamas-ruled Health Ministry in Gaza said 16 Muslim terrorists were wounded during the riots.
In addition, violent riots broke out in the Arab village of Kafr Kaddour, in the Qalqilya district of western Samaria, with Muslim terrorists burning tires and throwing rocks and firebombs at the security forces.
IDF troops responded with crowd dispersal measures to quell the terrorists.
Earlier today, IDF aircraft and tanks targeted two Hamas terror positions in Gaza in response to a shooting attack on an IDF force patrolling the security border fence east of Al Bureij. There were no casualties.
According to Arab reports, the Islamic Jihad terror group is behind the sniper fire towards IDF troops.
Police sappers were called to neutralize the bomb.
The closure, a routine counter-terrorism procedure during Israeli and Jewish holidays, is expected to last until April 27.
The passage from Judea and Samaria into others parts of Israel and from Gaza into Israel will only be permitted for humanitarian, medical and exceptional cases, subject to the approval of the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories.
