Explosive device lands in southern Israel – Muslim terrorists eliminated overnight during an invasion attempt
BREAKING: An explosive device attached to a bunch of balloons launched by Muslim terrorists in Gaza landed near the cemetery in Kiryat Gat, in southern Israel.
Police sappers were called to neutralize the bomb.
⚠ Police warn Israelis not to touch burning kites, tires or incendiary balloons and immediately report them to the police emergency line.
Dozens of firebombs and explosive devices attached to balloons are being launched today by terrorists from Gaza into Israeli territory.
IDF troops struck on Wednesday evening three Muslim terrorists armed with knives, who breached the security border fence in southern Gaza and infiltrated into Israel.
At least one of the terrorists was eliminated and two others were evacuated to Soroka Medical Center in Beer Sheva in critical condition.
Unconfirmed reports of a second terrorist eliminated.
“IDF troops spotted three suspects crossing the security fence and infiltrating into Israel from the southern Gaza Strip. In response, the troops fired at the suspects. Knives were found in their possession,” the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said in a statement.
Earlier on Wednesday, the IDF carried out an aircraft attack targeting a terror cell of Muslim terrorists who were launching explosive devices and firebombs attached to balloons from Gaza into Israeli territory.
A wide-scale operation against Hamas is still very much a possibility in the coming days.
