11 wanted terrorists arrested overnight in Judea, Samaria, Jordan Valley – Terror funds, weapons seized
The IDF arrested 11 Muslim terrorists overnight in Judea, Samaria and the Jordan Valley, who were wanted for involvement in terrorism and violent disorders directed against civilians and security personnel.
The terrorists were turned over to security agencies for further investigation.
In addition, as part of an ongoing campaign against illegal weapons in the areas of the Menashe Brigade, the IDF, Border Police, and the Israeli Police seized a Carl Gustaf rifle and ammunition.
As part of counter-terrorism operations against funds used for terrorism, IDF soldiers from the Menashe and Samaria Brigades seized thousands of shekels in terrorist money.
A stabbing attack was thwarted Wednesday morning on Route 60 near the Arab village of Hawara, in the Shechem area in Samaria.
A Muslim terrorist opened the door of a private car and attempted to stab an Israeli girl sitting in the passenger seat, but was shot and eliminated by the driver.
The terrorist was evacuated to a hospital in serious condition and later died of his wounds. No one else was injured.
