Explosives thrown by Muslim terrorists during late-night riots as tensions rise at Gaza border
Hundreds of Muslim terrorists rioted overnight in Gaza along the security border fence with Israel.
Hamas-sponsored terrorists burned tires, threw rocks, grenades, bombs, firebombs, fireworks, pointed lasers at IDF troops and attempted to sabotage the fence in order to invade Israel and murder Jews.
IDF troops responded with riot dispersal means including live fire at main terrorists, in accordance with the rules of engagement.
Arabs reported at least five Muslim terrorists wounded by IDF snipers.
The Hamas-run health ministry in Gaza says that a 24-year-old Muslim terrorist who was critically wounded during the riots finally succumbed to his wounds.
Residents of Israeli towns near the Gaza border reported hearing hundreds of blasts tonight. Three Merkava tanks have been spotted east of Khuza’a, in the Khan Younis area.
IDF struck Hamas terror posts in Gaza in retaliation to multiple explosive devices attached to balloons, bombs, and grenades thrown at IDF troops securing the border.
An IDF aircraft bombed two observation posts belonging to Hamas in southern Gaza.
Earlier, Code Red rocket alert sirens sounded in the town of Kisufim in the Eshkol Regional Council.
The red alert was likely caused by the continued launching and blasts of explosive devices.
Saturday afternoon, an IDF aircraft bombed a motorcycle carrying two Muslim terrorists who were launching explosive devices attached to balloons from Gaza into Israeli territory. The terrorists were lightly wounded in the strike, east of Bureij.
Throughout the day, hundreds of explosive devices and firebombs attached to balloons were launched by Muslim terrorists in Gaza towards southern Israel.
