Terror on Temple Mount: Border Policewoman wounded in firebomb attack at Jewish holy site
BREAKING: A firebomb was thrown by Muslim terrorists towards Israeli Police officers stationed on the Temple Mount, causing a blaze to break out at the Jewish holy site in Jerusalem.
A Border Policewoman was lightly wounded in the terror attack.
The police entered the Temple Mount following the attack and closed off all the entrances and exits to the compound in order to locate the terrorists, which led to violent Muslim riots.
Three Muslim terrorists were arrested.
The commander of the Jerusalem district, Major General Doron Yedid, arrived at the scene shortly after and ordered for the compound to remain closed in order to inspect the mosque for other explosive devices that might be left behind by the terrorists.
Hamas, Fatah, and other terror groups and Arab factions in Judea, Samaria, and Gaza call for a ‘day of rage’ over the Mercy Gate.
On February 22, hundreds of Muslim rioters broke into the Mercy Gate, a large structure on Jerusalem’s Temple Mount that was closed several years ago based on a court order because the group running the area was found to have ties to Hamas.
It has been kept closed to stop illegal construction work by the Waqf.
The police have since attempted to close it again, but Muslim terrorists have reopened it and have used it as a mosque.
