Islamic Jihad unveils its rocket production workshop in Gaza – Late-night terrorists riot along the border
The Iranian-backed Islamic Jihad terror group unveiled its rocket production workshop in Gaza and claimed that it has missiles that can reach central Israeli cities like Tel Aviv and Netanya and even further north.
In a broadcast on Iran’s Al-Alam channel, the terror group claimed their arsenal includes the “Hell of Ashkelon” missile with a heavy warhead that hit a building in Ashkelon during a rocket attack last November.
Due to its oversize warhead which could carry 150-200 kilogram explosives, the small, local rocket has greater destructive capabilities – although, compared to other rockets, it has less accuracy and range.
Hundreds of Muslim terrorists are rioting tonight along the security border fence with Gaza. They are burning tires, throwing rocks, grenades, bombs, firebombs, fireworks at IDF troops in what is escalating into a regular nocturnal outbreak of terrorism along the security border fence with Gaza.
IDF troops are responding with riot dispersal means including live fire at main terrorists, in accordance with the rules of engagement.
The IDF launched a surprise large-scale exercise on Sunday simulating a number of war scenarios, centering on the Gaza border.
