Abbas says PA suspends all agreements with Israel

BREAKING: Once again, Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas says the PA will suspend all accords signed with Israel starting tomorrow, following the demolition of illegal Arab houses in Jerusalem.

“This is ethnic cleansing and the [so-called] Palestinians will not accept the situation,” Abbas said.

“In the face of the occupation [State of Israel] insistence in negating all of the signed agreements and in line with the obligations that has been created, we announce the decision of the leadership to halt work related to the agreements signed with the Israeli side and begin establishing mechanisms, starting tomorrow with the formation of a committee to implement that,” he added.

Israeli security forces on Monday morning demolished ten of the over 100 illegally-built structures in the Wadi al-Hummus neighborhood, which were erected in defiance of a 2011 Israeli Civil Administration order barring construction near the security fence.

Wadi al-Hummus is located just outside of the municipal borders of Jerusalem, but on the Jerusalem side of the security fence.
