Abbas: PM Netanyahu personally transfer money to Hamas
Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas accused Saturday Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of directly funding the terror attacks in Judea and Samaria by allowing the transfer of Qatari money to Gaza.
Speaking at the beginning of a meeting of the Palestinian Authority leadership in Ramallah, Abbas added that the PA will not “negotiate with the US administration because it is not neutral.”
“Netanyahu personally transfers the money, and that is being translated into ammunition, equipment, and funds being transferred to Judea and Samaria. We know it and Israel knows it,” Abbas said in his address.
Abbas also announced that elections will be held for the PA Legislative Council within six months, after announcing that the PA ‘constitutional court’ dissolved the so-called parliament.
Former Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman spoke out against the government in wake of the continuing violent Muslim riots in the south.
“The violence at the security fence of Gaza is not stopping”, Liberman said, “like every week, thousands of Palestinians rioted again this weekend near the fence and the government continues to ignore. Despite the riots in the south and the terror in Judea and Samaria, the government is continuing to transfer the Hamas it’s “protection money” – 15 million dollars from Qatar every month”.
Liberman announced his resignation last month, in protest of the latest ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, criticizing it as “surrender to terrorism”.
