Abbas at UN: We'll continue to pay the families of Muslim terrorists who murdered Jews

In his speech to the UN General Assembly, Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas, who is serving the 15th year of his 4-year term, said that despite Israel’s demands, the PA will continue to pay salaries to Muslim terrorists who murdered Jews.

“Even if I had only one penny, I would’ve given it to the families of the martyrs [jihadists who murdered Jews] prisoners and heroes,” said Abbas and received a round of applause from the crowd.

Mahmoud Abbas also said that the pre-election announcement by PM Netanyahu of a plan to apply Israeli sovereignty over the Jordan Valey and the northern Dead Sea was “arrogant” and vowed that if any such plan were carried out, the PA would terminate all previously signed agreements and obligations.

Abbas also said that the Palestinian Authority would no longer agree to only one country mediating at a time in their negotiations with Israel and called for an international conference to promote the ‘peace process’.

In addition, Abbas said is “unfortunate and shocking” that the United States supports the Jewish state, citing “extremely aggressive and unlawful measures” the US has taken, such as declaring Jerusalem the eternal capital of Israel, “in blatant provocation” to hundreds of millions of Muslims and Jew-haters.
