Cleared for Publication: 5 Muslim Bedouins arrested for stealing soldier’s weapon
It has been cleared for publication on Sunday afternoon that security forces arrested five Israeli Bedouins from the southern town of Laqiya in the Negev, for involvement in a security incident where a soldier’s weapon was stolen at Beit Kama Junction last week.
Three of the Muslim Bedouins snatched the weapon while threatening the soldier with a handgun.
The incident is considered criminal, not nationalistic.
The main suspect, a 22-year-old Bedouin, planned to sell the weapon to pay back debts and finance his wedding.
