999,999: Muslim terrorist shot and eliminated ahead of Gaza’s million-man riots
A Muslim terrorist who was shot in the head by IDF fire during violent riots has finally died of his wounds, hours ahead of Gaza’s ‘million man march’ marking the one-year anniversary of the weekly riots along the border, which coincides with the annual Land Day.
The Hamas-ruled Health Ministry in Gaza identified the Muslim terrorist as 21-year-old Mohammed Jihad Sa’ad.
IDF tanks shelled at least two Hamas terror posts overnight in northern Gaza which were used by Muslim terrorists to launch explosive devices into Israeli territory.
“Explosives were hurled tonight during a violent Hamas riot. We responded by attacking a Hamas military post in Gaza. Hamas must be held accountable for their violence”, IDF Spokesperson’s Unit tweeted.
Large riots expected today, raising the likelihood of bloodshed in the annual ‘Land Day’, referring to Israel ’s control of land in the Negev and Galilee in 1967, demolishing illegal Arab buildings and evacuating communities established illegally by Arab squatters.
The main Land Day march in Israel is planned for Saturday afternoon in the northern city of Sakhnin, with additional marches, demonstrations, and riots expected across the country.
Commander of the IDF Coordination and Liaison Administration for the Gaza Strip, Col. Iyad Sarhan, addressed the residents of Gaza, calling them to “keep away from the border and not approach the fence”… “Demonstrate to your heart’s desire, but come no closer than 300 meters of the border”.
“The State of Israel is determined to continue to defend its citizens and will not tolerate rocket fire and terrorist acts,” he added. “Heed your safety.”
Arab sources said on Friday that Hamas, Islamic Jihad and other terror groups in Gaza have reached understanding with Israel ahead of the riots, following talks with a delegation of Egyptian intelligence officials.
According to sources, the understanding includes an agreement on the part of Hamas to prevent rioters from approaching the fence, while Israel responds with restraint to invasion attempts.
