8 wanted terrorists arrested overnight in Judea and Samaria – IDF on track of Ofra, Givat Assaf terrorists

BREAKING: The IDF arrested 8 Muslim terrorists overnight in Judea and Samaria, who were wanted for involvement in terrorism and violent disorders directed against civilians and security personnel.

The terrorists were turned over to security agencies for further investigation.

In addition, as part of an ongoing campaign against illegal weapons, IDF troops seized local-made weapons in the Shechem area.

As part of the ongoing manhunt for the Muslim terrorists behind the drive-by shooting attacks near the Jewish communities of Ofra and Givat Assaf, IDF troops continue to operate Monday morning in the terror nest of Kobar in the Ramallah area.

During the counter-terrorism operation, Muslim terrorists threw rocks and firebombs at IDF troops. The forces responded with riot dispersal methods. There were no injuries reported among the IDF.

Two combat soldiers, Sgt. Yossi Cohen and Staff Sgt. Yovel Mor-Yosef were murdered and two others were wounded in the Givat Assaf terror attack.

A week earlier, Muslim terrorists attempted to murder Israelis, including a pregnant woman, in a drive-by shooting attack near Ofra Junction.  A 7-month baby born prematurely died after three days of efforts by doctors to save his life.

A Muslim terrorist connected to the shooting attacks in Ofra and Givat Assaf was caught and arrested by elite undercover forces in the terror nest of Kobar last month. Another Muslim terrorist behind the shooting attack near Ofra was shot and eliminated by elite Yamam counter-terrorism forces.
