7 wanted terrorists arrested, 2 eliminated over the weekend in Judea and Samaria – Weapons seized
BREAKING: The IDF arrested seven Muslim terrorists over the weekend in Judea and Samaria, who were wanted for involvement in terrorism and violent disorders directed against civilians and security personnel.
The terrorists were turned over to security agencies for further investigation.
In addition, as part of an ongoing campaign against illegal weapons, IDF troops arrested two Muslim terrorists who had a Carlo submachine gun in their vehicle.
Violent riots broke out during counter-terrorism operations in the terror nest of Issawyia in Jerusalem. Border Police forces used crowd dispersal methods to quell the terrorists.
During a counter-terrorism operation Saturday night near the Arab village of Beit Awwa in Hevron, IDF forces spotted three Muslim terrorists who were attempting to murder Jews by throwing firebombs at Israeli vehicles traveling on a nearby road.
IDF troops from the Yehuda Brigades responded by firing at the terrorists, eliminating one of them.
The other two terrorists were arrested and taken for questioning.
Violent riots broke out following the terrorist’s elimination, with Muslim terrorists throwing rocks and firebombs at IDF troops operating in the area.
IDF troops responded with riot dispersal means including live fire at main terrorists. A second Muslim terrorist was eliminated during the riots.
