The IAF bombed a Hamas terror position in northern Gaza near the security border fence Saturday night after Muslim terrorists flew incendiary kites from there in an attempt to set fires in Israel.
The IDF said the incident is similar to other attempts on Friday to burn Israeli territory.
“We will continue to act against terror attacks above and below ground,” the IDF said in a statement. “The Hamas terror organization is solely responsible for any terrorist activity emanating from the Gaza Strip.”
The IDF also stressed there was no connection between the strike and the explosion in the city of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza earlier on Saturday, in which six Muslim terrorists blew themselves up and wounded another three terrorists in a powerful ‘mysterious’ Jihadi workplace accident.
Some 10,000 Muslim terrorists rioted along the border between Hamas-occupied Gaza and Israel for the sixth consecutive Friday, with rioters burning tires, throwing rocks, flying firebombs attached to kites and attempting to infiltrate into Israel in order to murder Jews.
“The phenomenon of incendiary kites is not hidden from our eyes and we see it very severely,” he tweeted, adding that “the IDF views Hamas as responsible for everything that happens in Gaza and comes out of it.”
