“We can’t allow Fadi al-Batsh, a member of the Hamas military wing killed in Malaysia, to be brought to Gaza for burial before the release of the bodies of Hadar Goldin and Oron Shaul so that they can be buried in Israel,” tweeted Bennett.
“I will raise the issue tomorrow with the prime minister,” said Bennett.
Hamas has been holding the bodies of Goldin and Shaul since 2014’s Operation Protective Edge.
Gaza’s ruling Hamas terrorist group said Saturday that a Muslim terrorist who was assassinated in Malaysia was an important member of the terror group, raising suspicions that Israel was behind the brazen elimination.
Israeli media reported that he was also deeply involved in the Hamas drone development project.
Home Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, quoted by the state-run Bernama news agency, said Batsh was “an electrical engineer and an expert at making rockets.”
