Since this morning, thousands of Hamas-sponsored Muslim terrorists have been rioting in five locations along the security border fence between Israel and Gaza.
From early Friday, Muslim terrorists are burning tires, throwing rocks and attempting to damage the fence in order to infiltrate into Israel and kill Jews.
Several attempts to harm or breach the security infrastructure took place.
In addition, a number of attempted terror attacks occurred, during which an explosive device and firebombs were hurled at security forces.
Muslim terrorists hurled an explosive device and several fire bombs near the fence. One such explosive device planted in the vicinity of the Karni crossing ended up injuring several demonstrators by mistake after detonating prematurely.
A 28-year-old Muslim terrorist was shot and eliminated during today’s riots.
Gaza health officials say 700 Palestinians were hurt, including more than 100 by Israeli army fire.
The IDF has declared the area a closed military zone and troops are responding with riot dispersal means and are firing in accordance with the rules of engagement, including by firing at key instigators.
“The IDF won’t allow any harm to security infrastructure and will act against the violent rioters and terrorists”, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said in a statement.
34 Muslim terrorists from Gaza, including 14 terrorists identified by Israeli security officials as terrorists, have been eliminated since the riots began on Friday, March 30th.
The violence broke out on Friday after 45,000 Muslim terrorists rioted near the fence, threw rocks and firebombs, burned tires and attempted to infiltrate into Israel.
The Hamas-sponsored riots are due to end on May 15, the day Arabs call the “Nakba” or “Catastrophe”, marking the creation of the State of Israel in 1948.
