A Muslim terrorist was shot and eliminated Tuesday afternoon on the Gaza border in violent Hamas-sponsored riots.
Muslim terrorists continue to riot along the security border fence between Gaza and Israel. Rioters throw rocks, firebombs, burn tires and attempt to infiltrate into Israel in order to murder Jews in the so-called march of return.
According to Arab reports, 25-year-old Muslim terrorist Ahmed Omar Arafa from Deir al-Balah was shot in the chest east of Bureij, finally succumbing to his injuries shortly thereafter.
“The IDF will not allow any breach of the security fence, which protects Israeli civilians, and will continue to operate in order to prevent terrorists who are involved in these acts of terror”.
“The IDF wishes to emphasize that approaching the security fence is a dangerous act”, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said in a statement.
Earlier, Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman said that those who approach the border will endanger their lives, warning Hamas terror group against “continued provocation.”
“We have established clear ground rules and we do not intend to change them,” Lieberman said during a visit to an Israeli communal farm near Gaza. “Anyone who approaches the border is putting his life in danger.”
“This was a well-organized provocation by Hamas’s armed wing in an attempt to harm our sovereignty, to disrupt daily life and to disturb Israelis on their Seder (traditional Passover meal) night. We are doing what we must do,” Lieberman added.
The defense minister has characterized most of those eliminated last week as “terrorists that we know well who are active in the armed wing of Hamas and Islamic Jihad. They were not innocent civilians who were part of a civil protest”.
Ismail Radwan, a senior Hamas terrorist, said mass rioters would continue as planned, despite Lieberman’s threats.
The violence broke out on Friday after 45,000 Muslim terrorists rioted near the fence, threw rocks and firebombs, burned tires and attempted to infiltrate into Israel.
The Hamas-sponsored riots are due to end on May 15, the day Arabs call the “Nakba” or “Catastrophe”, marking the creation of the State of Israel in 1948.
Meanwhile in Gaza, some 10,000 tires have been collected to set ablaze and throw at the security border fence during the Hamas-sponsored planned riots for next Friday after mosque.
Terror-fans in Gaza are posting on social media instructions of methods to prepare and launch ‘peaceful’ firebombs and collecting mirrors to blind IDF troops so terrorists can damage the security fence, infiltrate into Israel and kill Jews.
