Two IDF soldiers were murdered and two others seriously wounded in a car ramming attack by a Muslim terrorist on Route 585 from Mevo Dotan towards Hermesh in northern Samaria.
The Muslim terrorist escaped and was caught and arrested after a massive manhunt.
Magen David Adom medics that arrived to the scene gave the injured first aid before evacuating them to Rabin Medical Center in Petah Tikva.
The Muslim terrorist driver of the vehicle, 26, from the Arab town of Barta’a—which straddles both sides of the Green Line in the Wadi Ara region—sustained light-to-moderate injuries and was treated at the scene. He was then evacuated to Hillel Yaffe Medical Center in Hadera.
A Rabin Medical Center spokesperson said one of the soldiers injured has been anesthetized and put on life support due to suffering blunt trauma to the head. The spokesperson added he is in serious condition, while the other soldier injured is in moderate condition.
The terror attack reportedly took place when the four soldiers left their military Humvee to man a nearby guard tower. They were then spotted by the Muslim terrorist, who sped up and ran them over.
Gaza’s two main terror groups welcomed the attack and praised its terrorist.
Its de facto governing authority, Hamas, noted it marked “100 days since Trump recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel,” and that it made clear that “the Balestinian people are continuing the intifada”.
The Islamic Jihad welcomed the terror attack too.
Following the terror attack, the Coordinator of the Government Activities in the Territories, Maj, Gen. Yoav Mordechai, on Friday ordered an immediate and broad suspension on permits for the entire family of the terrorist, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit announced.
The suspended permits include 67 for employment in Israel, 26 trade permits, and 4 employment permits in communities, it added.
Earlier this month, an Muslim terrorist Israeli citizen ran over and lightly-to-moderately wounded two soldiers, a border policeman and a pedestrian in the city of Acre in northern Israel in a terror attack.
