Code Red rocket warning sirens sounded in Ashkelon Coast, Ashkelon Industrial zone and communities near the Gaza perimeter in Southern Israel.
Thousands of parents have woken and rushed their children to bomb shelters at 3 am as red sirens sound and rockets are fired from Gaza towards Southern Israel.
“Following the sirens that sounded in the Hof Ashkelon Regional Council, southern Israel, rockets fired from the Gaza Strip at southern Israel were identified in the Gaza Strip.
In response to the rockets launched towards southern Israel, IAF aircraft targeted a Hamas training compound in the northern Gaza Strip. The IDF holds the Hamas terror organization accountable for this hostile act originating from Gaza”, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said in a statement.
Arabs reported IDF retaliation by land, sea and air ongoing following second rocket attack towards Southern Israel.
Earlier today, two rockets were fired from Gaza at Israel Sunday night, one of which exploded in Israeli territory. None were wounded.
