The Muslim terrorist who mowed down and murdered 14 people in Barcelona’s Las Ramblas in August has been secretly buried in an unmarked grave in Morocco.
Muslim terrorist Younes Abouyaaqoub, 22, was buried with his terrorist brother Houssaine in their native city of Mrirt at the request of their family.
Officials in Morocco are said to have approved the request but insisted the burial must take place without any publicity and their bodies laid in unmarked graves.
The burial is understood to have taken place at night.
Police eliminated Younes in Subirats an hour’s drive west of Barcelona after he went on the run following the Barcelona massacre.
He stabbed carjack victim Pau Perez to death to steal his Ford Focus and spark a five-day manhunt after mowing down his victims in a van on Las Ramblas on August 17.
Abouyaaqoub shouted out allahu akbar and pointed to a fake explosives belt around his waist before he was shot dead by police on August 21.
Houssaine was one of the five Muslim terrorists belonging to the same cell as his brother who were shot and eliminated by police hours later in Cambrils after driving at high speed into pedestrians on a promenade before leaving their vehicle armed with axes and knives.
Spanish daily El Confidencial reported the siblings’ relatives were not present for the burial.
Moroccan papers have reported fellow Muslim terrorists Omar and Mohamed Hychami, who belonged to the same terror cell and were also from Mrirt, are expected to be buried in the coming days.
