Arabs have declared a general strike and ‘day of rage’ across Judea-Samaria and East Jerusalem to protest against US President Donald Trump’s announcement officially recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
Based on intel, the IDF decided to raise the alert level and reinforce their ranks in Judea and Samaria after Hamas, Fatah, other terror groups and Arab factions called for riots against Israeli civilians and security forces, following President Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
Hundreds of Muslim terrorists are rioting at several locations near the security fence along the Gaza border, attacking IDF forces, throwing rocks, burning tires and damaging the fence, as they do every ‘day of rage’.
The troops have responded with riot control measures. Arab sources report one terrorist was wounded in the foot by gunfire and two were injured by tear gas at Kissufim, while at Khan Younis, a terrorist was wounded by a gas grenade and another was hit by gunfire.
Violent riots have been reported at the Damascus Gate in Jerusalem’s Old City, with Muslim terrorists attacking IDF forces.
