Stabbing attack in Efrat, 1 soldier moderately wounded

An Arab terrorist stabbed an Israeli soldier in the town of Efrat in Gush Etzion and moderately wounded him on Sunday morning.

The victim was taken for treatment at the Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem.

The terrorist was neutralized and seriously injured.

It is suspected that the terrorist entered the community through the fence that surrounds it.

The IDF sent an extra battalion to Hevron on Saturday as it prepared for renewed Arab terror against Israelis, in the aftermath of five terrorist attacks over the weekend in Jerusalem and Judea-Samaria.

Two soldiers and four civilians were lightly wounded in the attacks, which occurred in Hevron, Kiryat Arba, at the Damascus Gate in Jerusalem and outside Ma’aleh Adumim. Four Arab terrorists were eliminated and one was wounded.
