Terror in Samaria: 2 murdered, 1 wounded in shooting attack at Barkan industrial area
BREAKING: A man and a woman were murdered, and another woman was seriously wounded in a shooting terror attack inside a factory at the Barkan industrial area in Samaria.
Manhunt underway for the 23-year-old Muslim terrorist, who is armed and fled the scene.
A 54-year-old woman was evacuated to the Beilinson Hospital at the Rabin Medical Center in Petah Tikva in severe condition after enduring a gunshot to her stomach. She was stabilized and currently her condition is defined moderate; she is no longer in a life-threatening condition.
Police and IDF forces closed the area and are searching for the Muslim terrorist who resides in the Arab village of Shweika near Tulkarem. According to estimations, he is still armed with an M-16 rifle.
According to the initial investigation, the Muslim terrorist arrived to one of the offices in the Barkan industrial area, went up to the second floor, opened fire, wounding three people.
The IDF issued an official statement saying, “The circumstances leading to the incident are still being investigated, and all angles are being examined.”
The terrorist apparently worked in the industrial area and was granted a work permit.
