19 Muslim terrorists arrested in Judea, Samaria, Jordan Valley, Jezreel Valley – Manhunt continues for Ofra terrorists
BREAKING: The IDF arrested 19 Muslim terrorists overnight in Judea, Samaria, Jordan Valley and Jezreel Valley, who were wanted for involvement in terrorism and violent disorders directed against Israeli civilians and security personnel.
The terrorists were turned over to security agencies for further investigation.
In addition, as part of counter-terrorism operations against funds used for terrorism, the IDF seized tens of thousands of shekels of terror money in the Arab village of Idna, in the southern Hevron Hills.
Security forces continue their operational and intelligence efforts to locate the Muslim terrorists who carried out a drive-by shooting attack near to the Ofra Junction in the Binyamin area on Sunday.
The IDF said the forces are investing most of their search efforts in the Mateh Binyamin Regional Council, with enhanced security checks being conducted at the councils’ entries and exits.
Shaare Zedek hospital in Jerusalem said Tuesday that the condition of the baby delivered prematurely after his mother was wounded in the shooting attack remains very severe, while the condition of his parents—Shira and Amichai Ish-Ran—is improving.
According to the hospital, the mother, who was severely wounded, is conscious and communicating with her surroundings.
Shots were fired overnight towards the Atara IDF checkpoint near the Arab town of Birzeit, north of Ramallah. No injuries reported.
