12 wanted terrorists arrested, weapons seized during overnight counter-terrorism operations in Judea-Samaria
The IDF arrested 12 Muslim terrorists overnight in Judea and Samaria, who were wanted for involvement in terrorism and violent disorders directed against civilians and security personnel.
The terrorists were turned over to security agencies for further investigation.
Following an increase in murder attempts by rock-throwing terrorists along 443 Jerusalem-Modiin Road in recent weeks, IDF troops entered the Arab village of Beit Ur At-Tahta in Samaria and arrested a number of terrorists.
As part of an ongoing campaign against illegal weapons, IDF troops and Israel Police discovered a handgun and four firebombs in the Arab village of Bituniya in Samaria.
The weapons were transferred to security agencies.
