12 wanted terrorists arrested – 3 officers injured during riots in Jerusalem
BREAKING: The IDF arrested 12 Muslim terrorists overnight in Judea and Samaria, who were wanted for involvement in terrorism and violent disorders directed against civilians and security personnel.
The terrorists were turned over to security agencies for further investigation.
As part of an ongoing campaign against illegal weapons, IDF and Border Police forces seized a gun and ammunition in the terror nest of Yatta, in the Hevron area.
Violent Muslim riots broke out in the Shuafat neighborhood of Jerusalem following a family brawl which included the use of live fire.
Three officers were lightly wounded as a result of the riots.
IDF forces came under attack during a counter-terrorism operation in the Qalqilya area, with Muslim terrorists throwing rocks and firebombs at the troops. No injuries.
In addition, an IDF soldier was seriously wounded last night as a result of a head injury at a military post in northern Israel, in non-operational circumstances.
