1 terrorist eliminated, 3 injured in IDF attack on Muslim terrorists who were launching firebombs into Israel
A Hamas terrorist squad was launching arson balloons from the southern Gaza Strip into Israeli territory. In response, an IDF aircraft fired towards the squad.
18 fires have been caused by firebomb-launchers around the border fence area today, over 70 fires since the Saturday ‘ceasefire’.
The IDF released a statement shortly after the report saying, “The IDF will continue to act with greater strength against terror activities that are being led by the Hamas terror movement and it views these activities seriously.”
Shortly after the Israeli jets attacked, mortar shells were launched at IDF troops who were engaged in operational activity near the fence in the southern Gaza Strip. No injuries to IDF soldiers were reported.
Minutes later, sirens sounded in the Eshkol Regional Council. One mortar shell landed near a cowshed in Eshkol. The IDF responded with tank fire at a Hamas observation post.
